About Us:

 

We are the AirView production, working now on covering human rights campaigns in Canada, and recently we are working with a national advocacy group led by Canadians fighting for the immediate evacuation and reunification of there families trapped in Gaza.

 

Since late 2023, they have been lobbying the Canadian government to implement its Gaza Special Immigration Measures Program, a policy that was created after months of pressure but has shamefully failed to evacuate a single person.

 

Role: Multimedia Campaign Strategist & Video Editor

We are looking for a dedicated, politically aware, and skilled media professional based in Egypt to lead content creation and campaign strategy across social platforms (especially Instagram). The successful candidate will be responsible for producing compelling video content and strategic messaging that highlights the injustice we face, pressures Canadian officials, and mobilizes Canadians to take action.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Content Strategy & Planning

• Develop short-term and long-term video strategy for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms

• Identify key narratives, moments, and opportunities to grow public support

• Propose video ideas using testimonies, protest footage, political content, and archival images

• Video Production & Editing

• Create powerful, emotional short videos using our archive of images, voiceovers, news footage, and protest clips

• Use editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve

• Add text overlays, subtitles, and music to enhance engagement

• Build series or episodes that expose Canada's hypocrisy, racism, and inaction

• Visual Storytelling & Design

• Design storyboards and visual concepts based on current campaigns

• Use Canva or Photoshop to create posters and infographics

• Ensure brand and tone consistency across all platforms

• Social Media Coordination

• Help grow Instagram page and keep it active

• Schedule posts in coordination with sit-ins and political events

• Occasionally assist with Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter content

• Narrative & Messaging

• Understand the political and emotional weight of our campaign

• Help “build the case” against Canadian political figures by using facts, video storytelling, and strategic messaging

• Help humanize our community’s suffering while exposing government inaction

 

Qualifications:

• Must be based in Egypt (priority given to candidates or those with ties to human rights causes)

• Proven experience with video editing, motion graphics, and content creation

• Extremely Strong command of English

• Deep understanding of political campaigning, human rights, and Palestine advocacy

• Familiar with Instagram/TikTok Reels best practices

• Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt rapidly to urgent campaign needs

• A heart for justice and a passion for amplifying marginalized voices
